Raising children is a liberating yet challenging journey, especially when we’re breaking cycles of oppression. The deep work of unlearning our internal biases, while navigating community spaces that may not always align with our values, and having the tough, necessary conversations with our children to foster a more just and compassionate world can really take it out of you!
At this Brown Bag Lunch Discussion event, we will share experiences, wisdom, and encouragement, empowering each other on our journeys of raising children who are resilient, empathetic, and equipped with the tools to disrupt cycles of oppression within and around themselves. And, you don’t have to be a parent to attend.
This event is a facilitated discussion space open to everyone. It is designed to feel like a casual gathering and natural dialogue. It’s a space to air out ideas, affirm and validate each other’s experiences, seek wisdom from the collective, re-charge your batteries to fight the good fight, and to feel seen, heard, and valued.
Spend an hour of your workday in restorative community!
